The song comes off the upcoming Great Dismal EP, which will be available on June 16th at digital retailers and on limited edition silk-screened vinyl. While many know Demons' frontman Zach Gehring from his many years with the band Mae, Demons is a different beast all together; it's an experiment in the truest sense of the word and an opportunity to overcome creative obstacles, challenge self-doubt and fear, and wipe away any pre-conceived notions of what what his new music should sound like.

About the track "There Is No Reward," Zach says:

"There Is No Reward" is probably the heaviest track on the EP. The song has two movements and both really dig in on the groove. It's a lot of fun to play. I think the drums sound great.
